Each year, more than 130,000 international students come to study abroad in Canada. In order to study at a makeup school in Canada, foreign students will need a Study Permit if their course duration is longer than six months. However, a permit is recommended regardless of the length of your study. In order to apply for a study permit, you will first need a letter of acceptance from the school. Once you have received your letter of acceptance, you must apply to the Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate in the city you live in. Payment for courses is required once all these steps have been completed.
